After being neglected for so long I thought I should just let Major Nelson and his top 10 rot. Heck, I didn't even bother last week. But then I considered you, fair reader, and realized I should get off my tush and post my ruminations for all to ridicule. I feel more like Major every day.
As for the list, I will opening with merely, "where the heck did UNO go?" Oh wait...that happened last week.
More after the break.

*WOC: Weeks on Charts (Only full weeks are tallied, thus first week is zero. Except for this week's chart because I waited so long to post it...d'oh) There are no last week scores as there was no top 10 last week. [Update]: I'm a bit out of it apparently...last week's positions added.
Beyond the mysterious absense of UNO (could it be that they stopped counting the Xbox Live Vision pack-in code activations?) you can see the true power of free add-on content (cough...Pinball FX...cough).
In addition, it seems like the XBLA crowd has become increasingly fickle and now hops from new game to new game with no regard for last week's release. With the loss of Uno, the oldest game on the list is now 3D Ultra Minigolf. Personally, I didn't like Minigolf, but one man's trash...
Also of note: every single game on the list comes in at 800MSP. Apparently, the masses are not afraid to drop $10 on an XBLA game anymore (not that complaining of "overpriced" games will every cease). Then again, since mid-September, they haven't had a choice as every game has been 800MSP or more.

I can't believe that many people bought Word Puzzle. I don't want to sound derogatory towards the so-called "casual" audience which Microsoft is trying to court, but anyone who paid 800 points for that needs their head examined.
Also, isn't the "weeks on chart" column inaccurate? Shouldn't is be "weeks since release"? I'm sure Pinball FX hasn't been on the chart for 29 weeks, it probably fell off the chart 2 or 3 weeks after release and has only resurfaced thanks to the free content.

Yes, there was. Don't you read the forum? :p

@ Gnort
I see your point, but I consider it just like the charts in other media where it indicates the first week it was measured as a week on the chart...because technically it's SOMEWHERE on the chart...just not in the top 10.
@ Plurre
I did actually read the forums...which just goes to show you how out of it I am. I think I got confused when I saw 10/29 and then today is 11/14 and this list is 11/05. *Sigh* I guess I need some sleep or something. (x_x)
Anyway...it's updated now...and thanks for keeping the torch burning.
