And the free game for our Xbox Live woes is......
Undertow. I'm kinda irked it's not a brand new game, but I hadn't bought it yet myself and won't mind having it. And for those that have already purchased it, Major Nelson said on his blog that those who had it are to contact customer support to let them know and they'll take care of it for you (by giving you some other game I assume, although probably another old one...might go through a preset list til it comes to something you don't own?*shrug*) Do those on here that have already purchased Undertow still play it? While I cancelled my gold account, my friend gave me 8 bucks so I could get at least one more month for now to play Rock Band online together, so I'll still be on gold for a few more weeks and looking to game probably.

As for whether people still play it, yes they do. Every Tuesday the developers host a bunch of matches that are a blast, that sort of interaction with the community really should be a requirement for all XBLA devs!

The better question is why nobody bought it.

Putting an UE3 powered shooter out at the same time as Halo 3 and COD4 was almost suicide.

I wasn't really interested in this game. Especially since every time I downloaded the demo -- I couldn't play it for some reason. But for free? I'll downoad it to make sure it really works. lol Either way, I downloaded Yaris and Aegis Wing for free, so why not another free game! I hope Undertow is more fun, though.

I think that expresses my feelings on this matter well enough. Undertow is great though, so if you didn't pick it up then grab it, just his is a stupid response by MS.
