XBLArcade.com Beta Leader board launched

So as part of the ever changing XBLArcade.com, today we announce that we’ve set up a beta version of our leader board.  While it’s unfortunately a leader board that includes all games, as opposed to just XBLA titles, it’s definitely a start.  Without further ado, here it is:

Yay, 306th :P

IMO Gamescore leaderboards should be called Let's-see-who's-got-more-money-and/or-just-waste-it-on-crappy-games-just-to-get-a-bigger-gamerscore leaderboards.

Most of the achievements aren't even worth the trouble...

Looks ok, actually. In the interests of promoting community participation, is there anyway to limit it to only those parties who have posted at least 1 comment?

I guess that might not work either, since there were a lot of folks posting comments for contests.

It is true that a lot of folks with mammoth gamerscores register wherever there is a leaderboard, just since they know they'll be atop it... Maybe the leaderboard is a 'perk' that you get in on once you've met a commenting threshhold? Say 20 posts/comments?

You don't need a ton of money for a large gamerscore. Just a lot of time.

I've got to my 16K mostly through gamefly rentals, but with a wife and a 14 month old, I don't have enough time to get a gigantic gamerscore.

Though I will admit I've made a few rental selections designed to boost my gamerscore with as little work as possible.

I honestly don't care what

I honestly don't care what my gamerscore is. Between playing mostly at night due to my kids & work, as well as splitting time between all three systems, it's a moot point for me.

I "taste-test" quite a few titles, but rarely finish anything unless it's absolutely worth doing so (Prince of Persia, Uncharted, Bioshock <one of these days...>, Oblivion, Fallout 3, etc.)

I just joined, I've been checkin this site for a least a year now, just now joinin, and I'd be 193rd but I guess it takes a while to refresh me on the board. Is it me or has news around here been slowin up, looks like it will be an interesting Spring :-)

Yeah, it does seem like news has been slow every now and then lately. But I'm sure it will heat up again after the next few months. I wanna hear more about "The Maw" right now, as well as "Watchman: The End Is Nigh", "Uno Rush", "R-Type Dimensions" and "South Park". Watchmen, Uno Rush and R-Type all have the achievements listed at www.achieve360points.com.
