News on Arcade Games

I recall when I was a kid I used to play spyhunter and another game which you played as a soap bubble and had to clean up a sink (I can't recall the name of the game but I think it was just called Bubbles). I used to play it on certain game websites and I think they are both were made by midway. Anybody know if they will be making these games on the arcade. Cuase that would be sweet.

I doubt it. For now anyway. With Midways near-bankruptcy and all. If Midway still owns those games, that is (which I believe is the case with Spyhunter, the other one you mention doesn't ring a bell).


Either way, I doubt it though. The Xbox Live Arcade service is too small of a space for developers to just release whatever they want, and for people starting threads about how much they would like to see random unannounced retro title. And frankly, I consider Spyhunter to be pretty much dead as an IP. But I could see Spyhunter launch on the service if a new "next gen" game released along with it. Or if the Paul WS movie ever happen. But yeah, don't expect it.

I remember the "Bubbles"

I remember the "Bubbles" game, I played it at a movie theater one night for about 2 hours when I was a kid because I was terrified of Night of the Living Dead.
