Hidden amongst the usual corpro-babble in the Band of Bugs DLC press release was the mention of the "Design A Level Contest". Since I am positive that we have some budding Band of Bugs DaVincis and Picassos, here are the details:
Make a map.
Submit a screenshot and description of your level here before August 16th.
Couldn't be simpler and your entry could win you 4000 MSP and a super-nifty special edition NinjaBee shirt!
(All of the official rules are HERE.)
And remember, since I will be judging this stupendous contest you should make sure to get in my good graces. And make a good level too. I can't make the favoritism obvious or the NinjaBee will hunt me down.
Happy Map Making!
EA, the generous and lovable company that they are, sponsored a Wing Commander: Arena tournament amongst various community sites (some 360-centric, some not). Well, the tournament has come to a conclusion and Xbox360Fanboy came away victorious.
Why am I wasting your time with this information? Because the winning site (Xbox360Fanboy) now has a massive list of prizes (courtesy of EA) to give away to their readers. So, if you think your pad might be spruced up by a 50" 1080p TV then you know which site to stalk. (And no, this is not the time to gloat about how you already have a 50" 1080p TV...geez.)

Not skilled at Bomberman or Photoshop but still love you some mad bombing style action? Well, I've got the perfect contest for you. Xbox360Achievements.org is having a contest (open to anyone on the planet earth) to win 5 Bomberman T-shirts and it will be completely decided at random. Just post your favorite Bomberman Live outfit and you are done.
So get your name in the hat and start your attempts and hacking and rigging the random.org generator.

Unscripted 360 has available two copies of Band of Bugs available for winners of a new contest. The Band of Bugs title really is one of the more solid, quality titles available on live and one of the personal favorite titles of many of the XBLArcade.com community. The contest simply requires you to name the NinjaBee games that are available on Xbox Live Arcade and the NinjaBee games reviewed by Unscripted 360.
More information can be found on the Unscripted 360 website.
Real simple folks -- Destructoid is giving away 10 Bomberman Live! t-shirts.
Two ways to win: Photoshoppery or Kick [their] Asses online this Friday
What's it gonna be? Shopping or ass kicking?

The simple equation above sums it up nicely but here are the full details. 360Style.net is running a XBLA Wallpaper contest. You make a wallpaper (or two) based on any XBLA title (I know all you closet Joust fiends are about to emerge) and send it in to avid@360style.net. Then, just sit back and reap the rewards (aka choose between a free copy of Tenchu Z or Project Slypheed).
But remember to adhere to the rules folks because I don't want to hear a sob story about how your freehand homage to the Amazon's chest magic attack from Golden Axe wasn't in the right file format.

Here's another one to file under free stuff. GamingTalkHQ has a code for Carcassonne to giveaway. All they ask in return is so precious little. All they're asking for is for you to drop everything and squeeze out a little comment on their site detailing your plans for the 4th (aka Independence Barbecue & Fireworks Day for all our international readers). This is way easier than the Clyde contest so no excuses. Get it done.

If you love Cloning Clyde and the Simpsons as much as you should then this will be your favorite contest ever.
Contest is simple:
What could be better?
(Appropriate disclaimers, rules, etc. are all here.)

What could be better than NinjaBee's new strategy game, Band of Bugs? How about a free copy of said game.If you still haven't picked up Band of Bugs, you should head over to x360a.org to enter their new contest. By designing you very own "Band of Bugs", you can enter the contest to win one of three copies of the game.
If you happen to win the contest (or if you've already bought the game), and are looking for some easy victories, add Tomacco to your friends list and send me an invite.
Here's the link to the contest
Got an idea for a game? Think you could plaster Doritos all over it and convince someone you always dreamed of your idea that way? Then you are the perfect candidate to "Unlock Xbox". Doritos is sponsoring a contest where you can submit your "DORITOS® brand–inspired gaming vision" in the hopes of having your game concept selected for production and release on XBLA.
That's right. The hallucinations you experienced after your Doritos overdose will finally be put to good use and might even earn you a pretty nice gaming setup* on the way to XBLA fame. In fact, all five finalists walk away with the game setup, so get to it. Just remember to incorporate Doritos' "iconic shape, bold flavors, intense experience, or whatever comes to mind."
Did anyone else just get a shiver down their spine?
* By "pretty nice gaming setup" I mean the following: a top-of-the-line surround sound system, 42" plasma TV, pro gaming chair, limited-edition Xbox Elite console and every Xbox 360 game title published by Microsoft throughout 2007.
