Numerous sources are indicating that Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix and Bionic Commando Rearmed, two titles hitting the Xbox Live Arcade from Capcom, will not be able to fit under the current 150MB limit. Long ago the original limit was 50MB, and it looks like the 150MB could possibly be a thing of the past as well. Microsoft has allowed Capcom to exceed the limit for Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix and Bionic Commando Rearmed, so it's going to be very interesting to see what the future holds in store for the Xbox Live Arcade. Does Microsoft intent to increase the limit to 250MB or something else, or will they actually hold firm on the current limit and just make a special exception for these two titles from Capcom? We're just going to have to wait and see.

It was inevitable. Can you image the press Sony would put out if MS stood hard to the limit and "lesser" vesions of the games were released? All of which is incredibly ironic considering Lost Planet is notably less sharp looking on the PS3.

I'm not sure if they'll go over the limit, because in a recent blog post at Capcom US Blog a guy developing Super Turbo HD stated that they changed some things in the art style (they had about 6 layers of shades and now they only have 4 and the artstyle is much more clean), so I don't know if they'll go over it or not.
But news that Microsoft have let Capcom go over the limit for Super Turbo HD (is a one time thing) have been rumored since Capcom dropped the bomb that the 360 version would be gimped.
Anyway, big kudos for both companies
