what genre on XBLA needs more games?

Personally, I want more strategy games, rpg's, and party games.
The only released party games are Rocky and bullwinkle, wits and wagers, and media for pirates vs ninjas dodgeball..... I wish there was a mario party like game for the XBLA. Hell, a port of that japanese only launch title would even be nice. (only in japan)
The only strategy&sims games (besides board games) are Band of bugs, Commanders: Attack, Outpost Kaloki X, and Worms. Where is our remake of populous? How about a tycoon game, any tycoon game! lemonade? pet store? pet rock tycoon? And speaking of sims, why no god sims?
And do I really have to explain rpg's? The only real rpg is penny arcade: blahblahblah. A cool top down mass effect style game would be the highlight of my day until the next game comes out (mass effect 2)

Needs some more RPG's for sure. Maybe something from Sega's old RPG library. Also I would love to see Crazy Taxi on XBLA.

Definitely RPGs. I'm sort of surprised Square Enix hasn't thrown some of its old stuff our way, since they so love re-re-rereleases. Hopefully the success of Penny Arcade Adventures (even with its 1600 MS point tag) will convince developers that there's a hunger for RPGs on XBLA.

pretty sure we need more good quality board games instead of just throwing something together and saying that its fun. honestly how hard is it to take a good board game and put it on xbla?? the design and rules of the game are already there.

I want Trouble, Sorry, and Life (or maybe "Sorry, Troubled Life" lol). Those board games are really fun.

I'd love to see more racing titles. The titles I am most looking forward to are not at retail, but are on XBLA. Those titles are ToW, Vigilante 8 and Kart Attack. Also like to see some more original shmups. Hopefully Geo Wars 2 gets a mention at the upcoming E3.

I reckon Bizarre/Activision own the rights as there was a version of Geo Wars released on Wii/DS. If MS were smart they'd try keep the best shooter on 360. Even though I have a PS3, it would feel strange not playing it on 360. Plus I much prefer the 360 controller.

Judging by sales numbers, XBLA really needs more board games and RPGs. It definately does not need any more puzzle games.

Real RPGS and adventure games!
Arkadian Warriors is a good dungeon crawler and Puzzle Quest is a great puzzler, but they aren't really RPGs (even though they used to be categorized as such but now only Penny Arcade is in that genre listing....odd). Penny Arcade seemed alright, but $20 is rather steep for seems alright.
Sega should really release the old Genesis Phantasy Star games on XBLA. After that I would love to see the old Sierra adventure titles such as King’s Quest, but not all of them just the good ones in its prime. Maybe even Quest For Glory? With all of the JRPGs and Bioware/Bethesda style RPGs I really think the older games could sell well.

Scrolling beat em ups. There is only Ninja Turtles the arcade game, Streets of Rage 2 and Golden Axe. We need Capcom's titles, they have tons of games like this.

Like many have said, a good old 16bit style RPG would be good.
And I put strategy chiefly for a release of SimCity2000 - I adored that game and would gladly pick it up for 800msp to play it for hours. I still have a savegame for a city I started in 1995
Not fussed about the lack of racing games though - i prefer my racing to fit the realism bill, something xbla is not exactly designed for.

I'd really like to see more pinball titles - preferably from the Goetlieb or Williams using their own boards. PinMAME would never be able to run, which is a shame...
Other than that, more 'modern' boardgames, what with the rumours of Zombies!!! coming our way. Fun little titles such as Frag (there's an irony ;-)), Hacker, Little Green Things From Outer Space, Bump in the Knight; or more obscure title such as KenzerCo's Orcs at the Gate would be a real blast, I reckon.
