Anybody home?

Anybody home?

No blog updates since 12/17? My xbox has been broken for about a month now, but I was at a friend's house, and I noticed XBLA releases that haven't been mentioned here.

Where are my favorite bloggers?

Well, XBLArcade has been

Well, XBLArcade has been pretty much dead declared for quite some time now. Pretty much the last six months or so (hopefully I don't insult them by saying that but the regular updates are no more).

And the forum is a joke. I mean, come on, trading demonoid invitations and 1months gold subscriptions. Funny thing though, I kinda feel I started the whole trend when I pretty much passed on Banjo Kazooie codes. Sure, there were some trading going on before that but I sure did lure a lot of shady newcomers.

Anyway, hopefully they get more visible in the year to come.

Yeah, I wish I had more to

Yeah, I wish I had more to offer the community here, but I mostly have been a lurker on the site, with an occasional comment.

I used to really enjoy this site, and I still check it everyday to see if there's something beyond code-trading posts in the forums. Maybe the admins have moved on, life does tend to use more of your time the longer you live it. I certainly hope the future holds a resurgence in postings to the site.

And admins, please don't take this post as any criticism, whatsoever. I've been an admin before, and sometimes, you just tire of what you're doing, or you lose the ability to be able to keep up. Like I stated above, I wish I had the time to contribute to the community more, alas, marriage, career, kids (now, grandkids) take ever more slices of the day. *THANK YOU* for everything this site has provided to us, and I'll still be lurking around.

giving the GamerScoreBlog a run for it's money

Perhaps we can take a one month code to make a contest to see who will acknowledge their site death first - XBLArcade or the GamerScoreBlog...

I think maybe numerous small

I think maybe numerous small xbla websites could merger or something.

other interesting XBLA sites

Why not join forces with xblaratings.com? It's basically a site dedicated to XBLA games where users can leave their own reviews, which is a feature I'd be interested in seeing here.

I was boxless for about six

I was boxless for about six months and was surprised when I finally got another one that this site seemed dead. I can't speak for the previous months, but currently there aren't really any XBLA games worth getting excited about. A jigsaw puzzle and a where's waldo "game" are pretty disappointing if you ask me. Radiant Silvergun would be a different story entirely. ;)

For all of you talking about

For all of you talking about merging with this site or that site...

In the past I've had more conversations with other XBLA sites about the posibilities of merging than I can remember. While i'd certainly be open to merging, it would only be in the case where it benifits both parties.
